How much free time do you own after you become a fullfledged doc?

My friend is in med conservatory, will be completing her residency/speciality in a year. Now she doesn't own time at all, even to answer our phones.
Just wondering once she starts her own practice after a year, how much free time can she enjoy for her friends and family.
Also, she desires to teach within the med school as a full time instructor. So, can she enjoy free time during weekends and some week days.
Which of these two options is better, to start her own practice or to tutor in the med college?
Please give me some model.

Answer:
Well, this is a very complex examine and in proclaim to give you an accurate answer I would call for to know a few things. First off, if she is to practice medication what field does she want to pursue. This will own a direct impact on how much free time she has. For example if she requirements to do surgery or OB/Gyn then the residency programs are long and extremely time consuming. Surgery I believe is ~5 years and Ob/Gyn is ~4. The on christen schedule is in recent times as rough. Now if she is interested in vote general medication the residency requirements are significantly less.
Second, slit a privet practice is not only time consuming but is also importantly stressful and again depending on the field may not even be possible. If Ob/Gyn afterwards I would think near cost of insurance and time available to deliver babies at all hours of the sunshine and week and to see enough bureau patients would be nearly impossible for a single doctor and still have free time.
Third, law is a noble rationale and one can perform this duty along beside continuing to practice medicine. Now again depending on the specialty your friend requirements will depend on how much more time drain the teaching division will produce.
I am not sure the above really helps you out so here is a final little comment. Your friend will work it out and she will hold free time but she has embark on a never ending profession of research and will require a lot of her time for the duration. Support her and she in that will be more time after school and consequently again after residency.
