Why do scientist use mouses to find a cure for disease close to cancer?
Answers: because using human guinea pigs/sacrafices is more inhumane & frowned upon:( mice are more ideal candidate because they don't resist nor have any clue/choice more or less being experimental specimens. gorilla and monkeys have similar inheritance as humans, too, but it is more difficult to control their behavior, they're not as populated as mice and it is a bigger hassle to take thoroughness of them. if mice could talk, they'd probably protest against it,argue that they enjoy "feelings," which they weren't competent to coherently express before due to their deficiency of speech-ready vocal cords and should be treated better because that mouse they simply tested that medicine on be their beloved relative, who suffered a horrible pre-mature death! til later...they are our nameless hero.
they use mice beacuse mice are mammals just similar to humans and they have especially simliar anatomy. They are also have one and the same tolerances, like roast and cold. thats why they make excellent canditates for conducting tests.
