When carrying out tests for alcohol what biproducts are tested and how far wager on can they be tested?
Answer:
as far as i am aware they test purely for ethanol. breathalysers try-out for the vapour. ethanol is not close to other drugs whose metabolites can be tested. ethanol is a simple chemical and rapidly (10g per hour) degraded by your liver. . once it is degraded you can't really tryout for the byproducts because they are organic molecules which your body can use. this is unlike synthetic anabolic steroids. the metabolites are still complex molecules which can be detected long after the initial steroid is broken down.
