Are generic drug name different for respectively country or alike?

If they are different does anyone know a good website site to find generic drug name for Australia as I only enjoy U.K , Philippines and USA resource books a/v here.

Answer:
Generic names are one and the same everywhere.
generic names are only just that. generic ..the same everywhere . The generic first name is the name given to it by the inventors of the drug. The difference comes surrounded by the trade name. They are call different names by different manufacturer in diff contries. so if you know the generic identify any pharmacist in the world can share you the trade name of the drug surrounded by that country
a generic name is the chemical label of the drug, I would think that if it be chemically the same within France as it was contained by the UK as it was within the US it would be called equal thing generically. They may adjectives have different Brand name though.

the link is to a citation of the Australian National Formulary of drugs...
Generics are not always alike: acetaminophen (in the US) is called paracetamol and APAP (N-acetyl-p-aminophenol) surrounded by other markets. "Official" generic name are at the discretion of the individual countries' regulatory agencies. Generic names are neither brand name nor chemical names, usually (although APAP is an exception).
