Will I be ok if I stop taking this medication?

I have be taking metronidazole for 5 and a half days, and I one and only have two pills moved out to take tomorrow. The symptoms cleared up after two days, but I kept taking it similar to I was instructed. But, I am going on a date tomorrow and would resembling to drink wine, and since I only hold one pill left to hold today, I was simply going to take that and skip the ending two. Its only soon skipped, so I figured it would be fine. Do you devise so?

Answers:    i'm guessing you got yourself a baggage of bacterial vaginosis. unless you want to get it hindmost, and have the stinky/itchies put a bet on, keep going. oh, and even if you do stop taking it, at hand will be enough surrounded by your system tomorrow for you to still get sick as a dog when you drink wine (the disulfuram reaction--which is the sensitivity you're unknowingly trying to avoid).

so take the two pills, abstain from alcohol for soon. you did it for 9 months when you were preggers, at lowest i hope so.
Take it all. It's an antibiotic, by not finishing it stale you run the risk of a few resistant pathogens surviving. While you will probably not get sick you would contribute to the growing problem of antibiotic resistance.
