How much can I drink when I'm on Penicillin?

I've just be prescribed penicillin for the next week. While I know that I can drink alcohol whilst on penicillin, I wondered how much I could drink minus doing any extra harm to myself?

It's my best friends birthday this weekend, so we'll be going to town and hitting the pubs and clubs on Saturday darkness. This would usually include about six or seven pints, closely of shots and a few vodka mixers.

I know this is drinking quite heavily, and isn't exactly fit in the first place (and I'm not suggesting I'm going to do this whilst on medication). But, what I am asking, is... is human being on penicillin and drinking this much (or any amount over a couple of pints) going to do any extra damage to me?
