Can anesthesiologist execute plastic surgeries?
Answer:
Only if he/she has have training to do that. It would require years of surgical training in demand to be any good at it.
I do know of some anesthesiologists who do laser skin treatment and spider artery sclerosis, but they trained separately to do that. (I also know obstetricians who do the same point. It's a money making venture.)
We tend to stick to what we're trained to do. Besides, surgery is so dull. all the fun is on the other side of the drapes :D
No they cannot. Their living is to closely monitor the anesthesia they give you so you don't die from it.
Not a surgeon! They newly put you to sleep, keep you alive, and get up you up!
No, not unless he/she has have training in that area as well. An anesthesiologist have a very special and significant task, and specifically to give you the lowest amount of anesthetic possible during your surgery, to keep you purely barely "under" and pain-free, so as to effect the fewest side effects of the chemical. This allows your surgeon, of whatever kindly, to do his/her job minus worrying if he/she is causing you aching.
Yes, it includes plastic surgery as well.
You own to be certified to do any surgery, so an anesthesiologist cannot do ANY kind of surgery, UNLESS he/she is also certified to do so.
Highly unlikely but could come up.
no- hospitals will not credential an anesthesiologist to do those procedures.
