What would be the Antonym of "Agnosia"?
A-Gnosis basically is Greek for "non-knowledge", so does anyone know what the Greek for "complete knowledge" is?
Agnosia is commonly used as a suffix or compound word for a drought of ability within certain areas, is here a corresponding suffix/compound for an unusual aptitude in these areas?
Thanks for the support!
Answers: There is quite a difference between the jargon "gnosia" and "gnosis". "Gnosia" describes the ability to sanction the implicit form & function of objects (including people), whereas "gnosis" (a.k.a. "gnosticism") describes spiritual intuition.
Compound terms end with the suffix "agnosia," e.g. prosopagnosia & autotopagnosia, describe different forms of impair recognition.
The simple answer is the antonym to "agnosia" is simply "gnosia," at lowest possible in the medical context.
Hypergnosia.
Auditory Hypergnosia is an Example of Psychic Tonus within the Temporal Lobes
- would poly-gnosia work? or omni-gnosia? as in OMNI-SCIENCE, the Christian GOD is OMNI-PRESENT, OMNI-POWERFUL, and OMNI-SCIENT
- what just about hyper?
