Is it sheltered to purloin robaxin while nursing?

Ok, I went to the doctor today for my severe headache and he is perscribing me robaxin. I told him that I was nursing and he said it wouldn't affect anything, however; researching on the internet is say to not take while nursing. Should I listen to this slapdash doctor?

Answers:    if you need my proposal donot take it here is no enough papers going on for safety and it is excreted contained by milk so would harm your newborn http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/methoc...
See what Webmd.com indicates, and as well, find the capitalist, and then read the counter-indications. Robaxin is a great drug for muscle relaxation, but unless you find a clear indication that it is not passed within your milk, you really ought to not take it. If you don't luck out here, ring up a pharmacy if you are not successful on the internet, and ask the pharmacist to look it up for you. the RX list timetabled about states to use circumspection... I think surrounded by your place, I'd opt not to use it, or anything unless you are dying of pain. My girlfriend is nursing, and in attendance is nothing that she will take--- she's within Yoga, Phys. Ther. and a ton of other things to ease a skipped disc.. her agony was sssssooooo discouraging during her pregnancy that her husband had to assist her off the toilet... (Now, there's a great dad, and a steadfast new mom, huh??)

Hope this help
