Hot issue!! Zoloft and irretrievable sexual dysfunction?
I have hear a shocking news from my herbal docter, that the Zoloft, an SSRI, may bring the permenent sexual disfuction.
I want to know if this is true.
What do you think?
Answers:
Very, incredibly unlikely. It causes transient change in some of the neuroreceptor pathway in the brain that are associated beside sexual excitement and orgasm, but removel of the drug should allow these pathways to reconsitute to some extent quickly.
I took zoloft.
When I started I be not in a relationship. However once I be in one I noted that it took forever to do orgasm (more time than my girlfriend was competent to accept). I switched to another drug and the problem went away entirely.
I don't reflect so, temporary is adjectives with adjectives SSRI like Zoloft.
Compared next to other SSRI's Zoloft promotes liver tumors, so having a choice I would avoid that one.
I don't believe any of the positive claims on any of the SSRI's, the psych industry is within cahoots with the psych drug industry, these citizens would lie roughly speaking anything.
Permanent sexual disfunction is no joke. And that the neuroreceptor pathway SHOULD reconstitute after discontinuence . . . Such a statement always make me look more closely at those possibly 'transient' changes. Sounds approaching someone (pharmaceutical companies, AMA, doctors with god complexes, etc.) is playing the likelihood here. Are you sure you want to?
- I am not so inclined to take those kind of chances near something that can be replaced by an agent that causes NO injure and much good - herb, acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractic, therapeutic press, lifestyle changes, etc.
- That you ask this cross-examine reveals your doubts about the efficacy and healthfulness of this drug. Follow your gut!
- Blessings on you!
