Why is one optical isomer of ibuprofen a more forceful analgesic than its mirror emblem isomer?

The question go on to say that the physiologically moving site in the body for analgesic have 3 points of contact with the molecule. I am still extremely lost. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Answers:    think one of those massagers that have a immense wooden ball and three rods coming out next to smaller wooden balls at the ends of the rods standing surrounded by a pyramid. now envision that the trees smaller balls are different shapes, round square and triangle. and they fit into a block that have three holes, one round one square, on triangle. if you have one massager and another to be exact the mirror image(the order of the shapes would be indistinguishable but one you would go inorder to the gone and one in proclaim to the right) only one of those massagers would fit into the block beside the holes. the other the shapes wouldn't line up.

this is exactally how you cell receptors are they enjoy bindingsites in a unmistaken order and the isomer of one ibubrofen fits and the other since it is a mirror logo, doesn't line up.

i hope this help

Well you didnt say which molecule have three points of contact...knowing how many points of contact near each isomer might assist. Usually if one is effective and the other isn't it technique the shape of the site where it attaches within the cells is going to allow the one isomer to fit and not the other. It's similar to your right foot not fitting correctly into the left shoe...they are mirror metaphors but they are not the same.
