What is the best stethoscope ever doesn`t matter what it cost ??
Answer:
I have a Littman Cardiology III. It is intensely popular and versatile, beside a bell that converts to a pediatric diaphragm. Most doctors I know have duplicate model. If you are going into nursing you really don't want anything fancy, since the majority of its use will be lung sounds and a nice one may get stolen. You also don't involve the very top of the flash. You may want it if you go into cardiology, but you still don't necessitate it.
Most Drs I know use Littman.
Doesn't cost more than $50 for a regular one. More for fancy ones. Most Drs have several and don't buy anything too fancy unless dealing near pediatrics.
I use a littman cardiology stethoscope. A good stethoscope will cost over a hundred dollars but will end many years (if you don't lose it!! Don't forget the ID stub...). And littmans are widely available, as are their replacement parts such as ear pieces and diaphragms, both of which I just have to replace on mine.
Most medical practitioners in here recommend Littman.
The trait of the stethoscope is not going to matter much unless you are a cardiologist, and are trained to hear the subtle rubs and S3, S4 heart sounds.
The most crucial part of the stethoscope are the ears and brain to which it is attached.
I use a cheap one, because it let me hear everything I need to and nobody will steal it.
