Vicodin side effect?

Just had surgery for a bone spur on my shoulder and I'm expericing some Tintinitis (ringing contained by my ear) and, well, a shortage of sexual function (while erection is possible, I can't even squeeze one off). Is this normal?

Vicodin-hydrocodone-is a key pain hired gun and it works by dulling your sensory nervous system which also is knob in your "performance". Other than that side affect, you may experience nausea, constipation and possible headache. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids--being non caffeinated non alcoholic beverages while on this medicine and dizziness is also a adjectives side affect--don't drive--but I assume you wouldn't try with simply one usable arm....good luck next to your recovery--ouch- that surgery was bloody!
that is a possible side effect and will turn away shortly after discontinuing the med.

Definitely a side effect of Vicodin/Hydrocodone. It is an opiate. Lots of citizens who have to steal these things for long periods of time provide up sexual activities altogether. Ringing within the ears is also typical. It should return to normal when you no longer enjoy to take it.
Hydrocodone, codeine, vicodin, etc. usually don't own sexual side affects, but peoples chemistries do differ...
