Very difficult interrogate. I don't think anyone have ever studied that. However, tumor cells surrounding the hippocampus, or stem cell placed there are not necessarily neurons (the stem cell could evolve into neurons, whereas tumor cells except neuroblastomas may devolve from glial cells to more primitive cell lines). Stem cell would have to evolve into specialized neurons and integrate into a population of neurons surrounded by a neural network or coding clique previously they could function as memory cells (en passant, importantly unlikely). Because of the high amount of neuroplasticity in the hippocampus and the intrinsic redundancy contained by function (e.g. in the different hippocampus and within like peas in a pod one) my best guess is that a "double memory" phenomenon would not evolve simply from there person extra cells introduces into a memory-encoding sector of the brain.
