Human genome project?
we've be told that we have to discuss the devout and bad points roughly speaking the human genome project in our subsequent lesson so i decided to read up nearly it.
as far as i can see, there are no discouraging points!
isn't it a good entity that they're doing this research?
especially if it results in a cure for cancer or something.
is in attendance anyone against the human genome project?
Answers: Certainly some scientific research is morally questionable, especially if it involves human or animal experimentation. Do for a time research on eugenics, or Nazi experiments for good examples of this.
But pure research approaching the human genome project is morally neutral. Nobody is harmed (or even affected) by the ongoing research. I feel it's safe to assume that anyone object to it has an agenda they're not unfolding you about.
Historically, the groups beside the most objections to this gentle of research have be religious groups. I think it's risk-free to say that science have whittled away at areas previously considered bit of religious doctrine. We used to assign gods to weather up to that time we understood it, right? Now religions don't acquire to impose made up explanations for things close to weather, or how the earth moves surrounded by relation to other celestial bodies. And they generally don't grasp to kill family who claim the earth moves around the sun.
But their objection to certain things remain. Is it possible that deeper reading of the human body and the DNA that informs it could further weaken religion's purview? I reason so, and I imagine the inhabitants who protest against this kind of research consider so too.

the only argument could be against privacy and have other people know your genes and what you might enjoy weaknesses toward or possibly even if you are gay if that is truly genetic
