Ibuprofen + naproxen. goodbad?
Answers: Both of these drugs are NSAIDs (its taking Motrin and Alleve together). They are in like peas in a pod drug class, therefore are metabolized equal way. So taking too much can fry your liver, as okay as predispose you to getting stomach ulcers. Personally I would stick to taking one or the other, Ibuprofen is a touch more short term so you hold to take it more regularly than Naproxen. I just approaching Ibuprofen because the MAXIMUM dosing is easy to remember- 800mg every 8 hours, or 600mg every 6 hours, or 400 mg every 4 hours :) You should follow the directions specifically by your physician though, because resembling I said, these drugs can be very frozen on the body (especially when used for extended periods of time).
Both are anti-inflammatories, you should never mix the two, give somebody a lift one or the other. You can always lift either beside paracetomol if the pain is immensely bad, but do not overdose or cart with any other paracetomol product.
