Contact lenses.?
I am a 18 year old masculine. I have be wearing bi focals since I remember. But now I want to relocate to lenses. I am a foreign student and dont have medical insurance. I would similar to to know how much would it take to step to a an optermist and get him to prescribe contacts for my eyes. PLease be as much detail as you can.

The cost of the contacts really depends on what characteristics of contact are you getting; like monthly, each day or fortnightly. or couse, the most expensive would be daily and the cheapest is monthly. It also depends if you own the toric condition. Toric lenses cost more than normal lenses. It also depends on the brand or weather if you want your contacts to be coloured. Those would cost more. (:
It really depends on where on earth you go. I know that doesn't serve much, but unless you need specialty lenses it shouldn't run you more than $200 for exam and your first set of contacts.
