The sympathetic nervous system is activate by the "three-F" stimulus, that is flight, flee, or, um, a four-letter F word that will be censored by the server. Since the muscles that control the flow of urine from the bladder are not essential muscles within conflict situations, they relax to allow emergency functions to maintain after injury, such as would come up in a fracas. When the bladder sphincters relax, we pee; hence, we pee when the sympathetic nervous system is overstimulated.
Control of bladder contraction is done by Detrusor muscular sphincter . This sphincter keep the bladder closed . This sphinctric control is under the influence of Parasympathetic afraid system. During a sudden fright or flight respose as in intense panic Sypmathetic nervous hobby predominates over Parasympathetic.So the parasympathetic activity suddenly give in . Sympathetic nerves contract the bladder muscle while the sphincer loses control. So urine is voided.
