What is medical academy approaching?
What is med college really like? My cousin said students enjoy to cram loads of information almost every night.
How is the horizontal of difficulty compared to undergrad level courses? I clutch IB Bio and Chem HL, which is basically the equivalent of AP Bio and Chem. I'm sure it's zilch compared even to some of the courses I'll have to sit out in univeristy, permit alone med school. But if it's possible, I'd close to a clear perspective on just how much harder it'll be. Analogies work economically.
Finally, does chemistry play a bigger part than biology surrounded by medicine? My IB director(who have a PhD in something...) say that I should focus more on chemistry than biology. I really can't take her word. I'd close to some answers from actually doctors or med students sooner.

The classes aren't any more difficult then your upper stratum undergrad courses in content, but you hold a much larger credit load. you hear the phrase "drinking from a firehose" comparatively often. Its similar to doing a double major within two years. You do spend a lot of time studying but we also win out and have fun too. My academy has a really nice wellness center, so race stay in pretty obedient shape too.
And no, physiology is WAY more important contained by med school after chemistry. Aside from biochem and pharmacology you don't use much chemistry.

It is much harder than an AP class and a significant jump from upper stratum undergraduate courses.
One of the difficulties of medical school is the shear volume of information. Most students do put within at least an hour or two of studying every dark. The work is very intricate and you need dedication. There is no, "oh I'll cram the hours of darkness before and go past." There is too much volume.
As for which degree, any scope will get you into medical academy so long as you have the pre-req courses (check the medical school for these), good grades, and righteous MCAT score. Pick a scope in which you are interested contained by and gear your courses to complete the pre-req's.
I would focus on choosing a good undergraduate institution you can be happy at. After that, afterwards decide on medical academy.
