How can i convince my nurse i dont need food when i faint?
thank youu! no rude answers please.
Answer:
The reason you are fainting is because your blood sugar is getting too low. Your body needs to have sugar in order to funciton. When the levels get too low your cells kind of freak out and you faint in order to provide that little bit of sugar used to keep you alert for the systems that keep you alive. You are going about losing the weight the wrong way. The nurse is treating the fainting. She is doing the right thing... one piece of advice for keeping from fainting is to eat more protien... instead of having cereal for breakfast have toast and peanut butter. You will keep fainting if you miss meals and the nurse will keep feeding you because thats the cause of the fainting. Try to find different ways to lose the weight instead of skipping meals. When you skip meals your metabolism slows down and makes it HARDER to lose weight! Good Luck!!
Are you trying to be aneroxic??
Hun, if you skip meals you're obviously unhealthy. Your nurse is right. You need food. That isn't healthy! Your body is telling you something when it faints. If you are not eating to this extent, something bad is going to happen to you. DO you want to get very sick?? You are harming yourself. I don't mean to be rude, but I think you should talk to someone.
You are playing with fire right now. Your body is telling you it needs more food! The nurse is doing the responsible thing by making you eat. Low blood sugar (it has nothing to do with sugar intake, FYI) can cause all sorts of problems with your organs, including your brain.
There is zero reason you have to be 100 lbs unless you are under 5 feet tall. If this is your goal weight and you are taller, you are anorexic and have an eating disorder that has the potential to kill you. That's what the camp nurse has to deal with, and if she fails to, she can lose her nursing license.
You are not going to convince her that you don't need food.Everything in which she has been taught in nursing school leads her to believe that you have an eating disorder. She is a good nurse because she had reconized the signs and symptoms in which you have been going through. She is not sewing discord because she is more careful about your health than you. Those dizzy spells and/or fainting are not a good sign, in fact they are a sure fire sign that you've been going through this for awhile.Darling girl, the good lord in heaven did not put you on this earth to suffer.Your body says you are ,and is fighting to live. Longterm effects on the body is not good because your body is aging faster from malnutrition. It is a strain on your heart and other vital organs. If you don't believe me.do research on the singer "KAREN CARPENTER".
