you are too young for Menopause..but in that is something called Perimenopause(not sure of spelling) that can come on as long as ten years in the past menopause. I don't remember any pain..my chief symptoms were mood swings and hot flashes and darkness swets. I hit menopause at age 53 and the other about 45..so that's nearly right. Maybe you have a hormone imbalence.
It could be anything. You are big-hearted of young for menopause. But, it does nouns as if your hormones are doing something
