If you take a pill and throw up the next 10-15 minutes is it still in your system?

my friend took a treatment pill but it made her throw up a few minutes later did it treat her

Answer:
10-15 minutes is a bit tight and it may well have been lost. It would however depend on the drug and its formulation.
I'm thinking probably not, but I'm no doctor.
not enough to help, but i would advise not taking another pill for 4 hrs tho...
phone a pharmacist or boots chemist for advice is the safest option as ur talking about medication here.

good luck..
Treatment for what? Usually a dose of medication will not be repeated if you vomit after 10-15 minutes, depending on what the medication is. If the pill came back up there might be something you can do. Otherwise call the doctor and ask if she should remedicate. Be careful because the liver, kidneys and heart could be at risk with too much medication, among other things.
yes course its in ur system it desolves straight away aslong as you dont b sick soon as u take it its in ur sysytem.
Call a doctor or pharmacist to figure it out! What you think is best and is right may not be the right thing.
More than likely, she also lost the pill/its contents. However, without getting too descriptive, it depends on the amount of stomach contents that she brought up. If she brought up a very tiny amount, then she may not have brought up the pill or much of its contents. If she is absolutely sure that it made her throw up, as opposed to something else, then clearly her body was trying to get rid of it and would have found a way to do so-either through vomiting or other means of elimination.
i used to have birth control that made me really sick to my stomach that caused me to vomit, one time i did it about an hour after and it pill was not there, i had to look for it. i dont think 10-15 minutes is long enough, but i thoughti would share my experience, as it was in within an hour of me.
Very very unlikely. That's not really enough time to actually get into her system.
Most likely not. She probably doesn't have the medication working inside her to the full degree.

She needs to speak to the pharmacist or her doctor to see if she is allergic to this medication.

Was it prescribed for her or did someone offer her the pill because she had similar symptoms to theirs?

Most likely a bad reaction to the wrong meds.
No, she probably barfed it right up. If the pill is upsetting her stomach, she should eat before taking it unless the indications say otherwise.
No, most medications take 30 minutes to 1 hour to get into your system.

Especially the birth control pill. It takes 30 minutes.
use a condom for the remainder of the month, just to be on the safe side, but don't take another as your body will have absorbed some of the previous one
not really, well not enough to do any good,
no, you should get a morning after pill and carry on the pill as usual.
