How can doctors know for sure when a girl isnt a virgin anymore?
Answer:
When your doctor gives you a gyn check, believe me they can bring up to date if your a virgin or not. One way is its terribly difficult to get the spectrum contained by your virgina. They can tell by your virgina walls as ably. Back in the daytime the Hymen was something they looked for contained by virgins but they cant always jump by that, now a days more and more females are tear their hymen while riding bikes or other activites and some are born without them.
Many inhabitants are under the indentation that the hymen is located within the vagina. It is not. It’s a mucous membrane that is to say part of the vulva, the external genital organs. It’s located outside the vagina. The hymen is a lode of tissue, just close to the tissue around the opening of your vagina that moderately conceals the vaginal orifice. You may or may not have one, most females do. The hymen is not an indicator of virginity; a girl is a virgin until she have been penetrated by a penis.
The External Exam
The practitioner will visually examine your vulva for discoloration, irritation, swelling and other abnormality, and she will gently surface for glands.
The Internal Exam
There are two parts to the internal exam. The first involves a speculum (speck-you-lum), which is a metal or plastic instrument that the practitioner inserts into the vagina. The speculum is shaped sort of like a duck's bill, and once it is inserted into the vaginal conduit it can be gently widen to spread the interior vaginal walls. (The vagina is collapsed in its relaxed state, but it can enlarge easily to accommodate tampons, fingers, penises, and even babies.) As the vaginal walls are spread, the practitioner is competent to see clearly the walls of the vagina itself, and up the vaginal canal to the cervix. In viewing the vaginal strait and the cervix, the practitioner can look for discoloration, abnormal discharge, lesion, growths and signs of infection. It is possible for you to look at your own cervix during this process by propping yourself up on your elbows and using a mirror. Some practitioners ask if you would like to do this, but touch free to ask to if she doesn't mention it first. It is incredibly enlightening to actually see what your anatomy looks resembling, and it can clear up a lot of confusion.
Pap Smear
Next the practitioner will rob a pap smear. She/he uses a long stemmed cotton tipped swab to collect a sample of the cell in the cervix. Some women grain a slight cramping sensation when their cervix is touched. The collected cells are smeared onto a slide and sent to a lab for conducting tests and examination. The pap smear is extremely crucial for picking up abnormalities of the cell in the cervix which may indicate infection or disease.
Testing For STDs
If you are sexually live, the practitioner will then assessment for STDs. Be sure to ask the person to do them. She or he will swab the inside of the cervix near what looks like a long cotton swab or two. The speculum is after slid out of the vagina. The samples are sent out to a laboratory where on earth they tested for various STDs. The test will take a couple days or more depending on how busy the lab is. Ask when your results will be hindmost so you can call them if you want your call on to be totally confidential. If you want to be tested for HIV, syphilis or hepatitis you need to hold blood taken. They can do that there also. But, they may not do that routinely, you will have need of to ask.
There is a blood test immediately that can show if a person have been infected at any time next to genital herpes (HSV). There are also newer blood tests that can explain to whether a person have been infected beside HSV-I and/or HSV-II. This test will not be done routinely, so to be exact also something you would ask for if you are or had be sexually active.
Manual Exam
The second factor of the pelvic exam is called the booklet or bi-manual exam. The practitioner will insert one or two fingers into your vagina and press with her/his other foot on the outside of your lower abdomen. They will use a lubricant on their fingers so it is more comfortable and easier to discern things. The person can next feel the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, and check for any swelling or pain. Once the doctor, or nurse practitioner is finished checking your uterus and ovaries, the exam is complete. Even though reading about it may construct it seem long, the entire pelvic exam (the parts involving your vagina, cervix, uterus, and ovaries) really with the sole purpose takes around 3 to 5 minutes.
Breast Exam
The doctor or nurse practitioner will give you a breast exam by pressing beside his or her fingers on different parts of your breasts. This is necessary to give support to look for "normal" lumps (which are quite adjectives and are harmless), cysts, or, in totally rare cases, breast cancer. After finishing, he or she may ask you to examine yourself, or may move your fingers to show you how to do it. Although breast cancer is fundamentally unusual in teen girls, it's important that you swot to examine your breasts yourself, since knowing how your breasts feel untimely on can help you detect problems following. The doctor or nurse practitioner will explain exactly how and when to do breast self-exams and answer any questions you enjoy.
Theres a "film" called the hymen(sp?) that breaks when the penis enter the vagina. If its broken, you're more than likely NOT a virgin.
they truly check for that .really .
there's no way to enlighten unless there's vaginal scarring. mostly they see if your hymen is still in tact but very soon a days girls are so active(sports) that there are alot of excuses why their hymen is MIA
they don't. girls lose they hymens for adjectives sorts of resons not just sex. near age the hymen becomes more supple and will either break on it's own or will freshly kinda disolve. Doctors can be very valid sure if a younger girl 11 or younger (more or less) has have any truma down there but otherwise they don't know if you are a virgin or not.
If hymen is intact U R a virgin.
They check whether or not the hyman is intact. That is a flap of skin that moderately covers the vaginal opening. But the hyman can be broken by enthusiastic sports, advanced foreplay, or the use of a dildo. so it is possible to be a virgin and not have an intact hyman
They can't explain to. The hymen can break for all different kind of reasons. I don't feel they'll allowed to tell anyone if it is or not anyway.
I can notify. I'm a doctor of love.
with the hymen item, you can be a virgin and have it broken too. but if it isnt broke than, similar to the other girl said, theyre probably still a virgin
hi serenity, the doctor exams the girl's vagina and he can readily see if the hymen is intact, meaning she is still a virgin. if the hymen have been broken through, afterwards the doctor will know she has be sexually active. however, i don't ruminate doctor's give exams for the sole purpose of finding out if a girl is a virgin or not, something else would inevitability to be going on to call for such an exam. i hope this help! :)
its easy to recount if she's pregnant. hehe
When i was surrounded by school they could convey bye the maidin head if it be tore something had be in at hand.
well theres this peice of skin contained by your vagina and when you have sex it tears so they could check by that
Based on presence of hymen, size of vagina and that sort of entry they can make a pious guess, but they can't tell for sure. Generally if your hymen is in that, you are a virgin. (Apparently it's possible, but rare, to be penetrated conceivably a few times without breaking the hymen.) But if your hymen isn't in that, they can't tell if you are a virgin or not, because it could own been torn from any number of reason.
