I had completely irregular periods adjectives of my life and to facilitate control them, I started birth control a two months ago. The doctor told me that it may take a couple months to get hold of my period right in good time, but at the end of my first pack of pills, I get my period right when it be due. Now, however, I got to the extremity of my second pack, and I'm on my third sugar pill and still haven't gotten my period. Is it commonplace that my period still could transport more time to regulate?!!? I'm just a bit worried... Thanks guys!
Answer:
Give it a couple more months, if it hasn't worked by then you might necessitate to change to another pill.
When you are on the pill, you don't ovulate so its not a concrete "period", your body may take somewhat while to adjust.
The pill, now days is such a low dose, you might have need of to try a few before you find one that works for you.
At least possible you're not getting break threw bleeding in the middle of the month, that's a devout sign that given time this one will work.
Good luck
It took me a few months to get my cycle regular. Now it's regular, but I still don't start til nearly the fourth day of sugar pills. So you may be common, or I'm abnormal :)
