Oh, don't worry about the sharks, there is no way any is gonna eat you just because you got your period. It's just a myth. Use tampons and get some good pain killers (ibuprofen works great for me and other millions of women!)

well i have the same problem, tomorrow im going to camp and we go swimming a lot but im just going to lay out in the sun and say i just dont feel like swimming or something but i think it would be fine if u told your dad because i mean guys know about that too.. just dont tell your brother haha he might make fun of you! i hope everything works out
That is completely a myth - go ahead and go swimming. You'll be fine. Take some midol or advil or something with you to help with the cramps!
im going 2 the beach tomorrow for my vacation and i plan to swim and im on my period... the whole thing is a myth... do u think ppl on spring break get eaten by sharks because of ppl wearing tampons?? no!! lol cause there are so many girls... just wear tampons hopfully the cramps dont last the whole time!! have fun :)
