How do I go about getting on antidepressants?
Answer:
Go see your doctor ASAP.
go to the Dr. immediately and be honest this time. you have a child who depends on you.
i suggest you go and see your doctor - don't be embarrassed as they will understand the way you are feeling and are trained to help you! be strong :D
see your doctor . ask for a proper diagnosis and they will make a prescription if you both feel that is what is necessary to help you . you really need a health care professional to help you evaluate if the benefits will outweigh the risks of the drug. good luck .
go to ur doctor n talk to him. ill tell u now the meds make u worse sometimes. n u gain weight. n u get tired. i dont like them. but do whatever
Go make an appointment with your family doctor and tell him or her how your are *really* feeling!
Go see your Doctor but I'll tell you, St John's Wort, the
Natural pill works for me for depression. As for no
energy, well, I take vitamins for that.
I try not to take prescription pills, I do take anti biotics
when I have infections though.
However, go see your Doctor anyway, this is just what
I do.
Sounds like depression. U need to be reevaluated by your doctor. This time be totally honest. If it is the psychiatrist U R worried about U do not have to see one to get antidepressants. I have taken them for several yrs. through my family doctor. If U plan to have more children U need to get depression under control. Postpartum depression can be life threatening to your baby & U. Besides depression just sucks all the joy out of being a mother.
My son was sent to Baghdad twice with being in the Army, I found that i needed something as well , I had feelings similar to yours. I saw my primary care physician and talked to him in great depth and i was put on Effexor...it has worked wonders, I found my patience level is a lot greater as well.I have 3 other children to raise and being a single parent they solely depend on me...Lots of luck to you.
