I have sex at 14 and I think the biggest mistake be not talking to my mom almost it, so I highly suggest that first of adjectives.
I noticed closely of people said pap smear minus explaining what that is at adjectives.so basically the doctor will transport a metal or plastic contraption called a speculum - it looks approaching a duck beak - and use it to hold your vagina open while he/she swabs your cervic near either a giant Q-tip or something that looks similar to a mascara brush or both. Its not comfortable but it doesn't hurt at all. It also doesn't thieve very long and most doctors do their best to breed patients more at ease... especially if its your first one :)

Usually a nurse is in within with you and the doctor. Everyone is different, but I don't mull over it will hurt too much. Might be alittle discomfort, but you should be okay. The doctor is going to do a pap smear and maybe check your rectum beside gloves and then press on your stomach to check for any abnormality. I don't believe the doctor will tell your mother if you have sex. You could always let somebody know the doctor not to say anything to your mom. (Doctor forgiving confidentiality). Your mom does not have to stay contained by there next to you as there will be a nurse within with you and the doctor. It is your choice if you want your mom surrounded by there or not. Well, you should tell your mother you would be more comfortable within there alone. There will be the doctor and a nurse within there beside you. You will lay back and the doctor will share you how to place your feet and how far to scoot down...its self-conscious having to unfurl your legs very broad for a stranger, but you do have a sheet covering the top of you..she will do a pap smear and next she will put lube on one of her hands (that have a glove on) and stick her fingers inside you..it may be a little self-conscious, but I just have one and it didn't bother me... as her fingers are inside you pressing up, her other hand will press down on the outside of your belly and this way she can be aware of around with one mitt outside and one inside... She may ask if anything feels humiliated, just checking for cysts, but later its over. Like I said, its a little humiliated but its not painful and if you can a short time ago take thoughtful breaths and do your best to stay calm it will be easier on you.
