Women only Please! How long is the average period?
The swim party is in 3 days and its my second day of having the period. Hopefully you guys will say about 5 days...If so , hopefully everything will turn out fine!

Don't use pads in a pool - not good! :) If you have to, try using a tampon. I know you're young, but it's not difficult and it's much more comfortable than a pad anyway!

If it hasn't stopped, you do need to wear a tampon. I would recommend trying at least once before the day of the party, since tampons can break your hymen and will be painful and uncomfortable the first time--you don't want to feel like that at the party!

usually 4-6 days. mine are about 5. since your just starting, it's probably irregular so i bet it will be shorter anyways. remember that water usually stops your period for the time your in it, but as soon as you get out it starts up again. so you could try that method, just make sure you get to a bathroom quick when your out of the pool, and don't wear a white swimsuit! good luck =)

Pads would Not be the Best Choice for the Pool, Tampons work Well, just Change Regularly. When you are Done swimming, Change into your Regular Clothes and Pads.
well...when u first begin ur period, it is isn't regulated. but most first time periods are usually light. But they can last from about 3-5 days when you first start. About three days,after that. make sure to track Ur cycles 2, so u'll know for future reference. After a few months it'll happen every 28 days.

well Im thirteen and my period lasts for about 6 or 7 days it depends on you. Try using a tampon follow the directions if you still dont feel comfertable I guess ur just gonna have to get used to it. It might end before then good luck
Usually 3-7 days but mine are longer. It might also be light enough for you to not have to wear anything just for swimming. I mean you're in the water! lol!
it can be anything form 3-8 days but usually, and more common, its 4-5 so dont worry, you usually stop flowing when in water anyway but quite soon after you get out you start again, heavy so becareful, maybe you should try a tampont, they are great!

well it differs due to ur family background,diet,health and lifestyle.I remeber when i was 13-14 I had periods lasting me 7-14 days and the doctor found nuth n wrong with me but i since i was losing so much blood so i got supplement sso if u ever experience this don't be afraid. But it is usually 3-5/5-7/8-13.Like i said it depends on the individual good luck.
