Hi well the mirena once incerted workes for five years, i am currently contained by my third year. All is good but the first year be hell i still dont know how i ever got through the strain. It is different for everyone and i only persist due to being within a relationship with a man that i could not ever topple pregnant at any cost. My symptoms were severe final and stomach cramps that would leave me curled up on the floor screeming within pain inept to move. Sometimes i would be walking along get the strain and be crippled over holding myself and just prayed the cramp would go away. I experience low height headaches constantly. Loss of appetite and mentally go to a dark place and feel so alone. At the start it was big blood flow and then adjectives over the place but now its zilch. There is also the fact that your partner may surface the strings whilst having intercourse but if it is discomfited for him the strings can be tightened up by your doctor of gyno. I also have a friend that go ahead and got it and have no side affects at all. Just remember that if you do stir ahead and have these symtoms its too unforced just to move about have it taken out. Now i own no problems with it but i must own up if i had my time over again for me i would of have it taken out.
