On average how cavernous does a vagina dilate during child birth?

What range is it within inches?

Answer:
When they measure dilation during labor, they are in actual fact measuring the cervix, not the vagina. The cervix is the initial to the uterus. It opens up to 10 centimeters, or 4 inches.
hi. :)
Ever see a baby's head? About that big lol
(feels thoughtful of strange to be a guy answering a guy's vagina question contained by Women's Health, but it is the 90s I guess!)
6 - 8 inches
fully dialated 10 centimetres
when it openeds to 10cm, the baby is equipped to be born.
