Help on approaching a request for hysterectomy for a doctor.?

I have endometriosis. I lately made an appt. again with a doctor contained by August.
the list i hold is
1.- 3 miscarriages due to endo
2. 2 Laproscopes and within a yr. it comes subsidise.
3. Laborlike pain for 3 days if im not prescribed a immensely strong anti-inflammatory.
4. -It seems to be genetic surrounded by my family (sis and niece also enjoy it)

For some reason these 4 points in recent times does not seem to assist too much with the docotor i see.
Can someone please backing me with other push button points on letting this doctor know I want a historectomy. I tried telling them up to that time the Lurpon shot, and that was what i terminated up with.
I'm 37 own 2 kids, don't want anymore and i'm tired of this cycle pain, and human being in the bed 3 days a month because i can't do business with the discomfort.

Answer:
Hysterectomy is a major surgical procedure, and beside the state of the managed form care industry, physicians own to "prove" to the insurance company that they have tried every modest non-surgical option previously performing invasive surgery.

Now the the Lurpon shot hasn't work, request your hystorectomy again. If the doctor says no, ask around your friends and find out who have a GYN that they love, and have your annals transferred there and return with a 2nd surgical opinion. Given your history, I'd be surprised if you are powerless to find a provider who will honor your request.
In your shoes I would look at getting another doctor! I bet your present doctor is a man!!
I think the reason you have given are more than plenty to justify a hysterectomy on medical grounds and you should be completely insistent with your present Doctor that you are low with your present precision.
You poor girl.I know what you are going through but at the time I went through endometrosis the picking of surgery was at hand...Be more forceful and take a detail in...Bladder fixed, appedectomy and uterus removed, check ovaries and tubes for infection etc...I told my doc that he single gets one accidental to do the stuff that needs done...Prayers
I have ovarian cysts on one ovary and because the ovaries were not removed...I may be paying the price shortly...ovaries produce estrogen so tendancy to quit in...once gone try to get them reexamined...it is a b.ch...
ok im my inference doctors do hysterectomies for medical purposes, because he doesnt want to loose his liscence and feel its not worth doing the surgery. anything a doctor does he has to report to the insurance agency, if i be you, just find one who will do it. Tell him your period are effecting you job and your natural life and its making you depressed staying in bed 3 times a month. I consider he can go sour of depression. and if he doesnt give you remember doctors are greedy and trust me one will do it for you, or worse satchel scenerio go out of the country and win one done.
August? You can't get an appt. beside your regular gyn until August? Wow! Call back and detail them you're in agony, ask if they can bump up your appt., or call you if someone cancel. I'd make ONE more drop by to your doctor. At this visit put in the picture the doctor that you're tired of suffering. Then ask the doctor WHY they won't perform a hysterectomy on you. Let doc know that if they won't programme and perform the procedure for you, you will find another gynecologist, as you're not self-righteous with the smooth of care that you are reception currently. Then do it. Find another doctor after the next appt. if they still decline to do your hysterectomy.
I'm in a really similar situation, and have my appointment beside Gyn next week. I'm simply going to point blank ask her. If she says no, I entail valid reasons as to why. I also already enjoy children and cannot deal near the pain. I realize that unless it's medical necessity, insurance won't cover it, which is why a lot of Doctors will describe you no.

~~ Frustrated
