Up to how long after unprotected sex can you take emergency contraception?

Answer:
There are two methods of emergency contraception:

Up to three days: emergency contraceptive pill
Description: also known (incorrectly) as the 'morning after pill', it must be taken inwardly 72 hours of unprotected sex. Women must take a pill which works by stopping an egg from individual released, stopping the sperm from reaching an egg, or preventing a fertilised egg from settling in your womb.

Availability: free from GPs, people planning clinics,
lb30 from Marie Stopes International (MSI) centres or
lb20 - lb25 from some pharmacies.

Effectiveness: 95% in 24 hours after unprotected sex, 85% within 25-48 hours.

Up to five days: intrauterine device (IUD) (Coil)
If you hold left it too deferred for the emergency contraceptive pill then you can still enjoy an IUD, also known as a Coil, fitted up to five days after unprotected sex, to prevent pregnancy occurring.

The IUD works by stopping an egg from man fertilised or implanted in your womb and can be disappeared in as a form of regular contraception or removed after a mundane period.
3 days. Then you enjoy to look into having an abortion
Up to 72 hours, but seize it asap as the odds of it in truth working get worse the more time have past.
The emergency contraceptive pill can be used up to 72 hours (three days) after sex.
48 hours / 3 days
Isnt this a bit close to chicken and egg?
If you visit the doc or hospital and read out it was later night, how will they know any different? Not worthy for your body though to stretch the truth too much as you might be given wrong treatment.
3days but is less reliable the longer you will it
You can have the Morning After pill - I believe thats up to 72 hours after. You can also enjoy an emergency coil fitted but Im not sure how long after and that can only be fitted by a GP or Family Planning clinic.
The Morning after pill is available free from most chemists - I know that Boots do it.
Other chemists charge around lb25 for it.
The more rapidly you get any form of emergency contraception the more influential it is.
You need to see your GP or book into your inherited planning clinic ASAP.
Good Luck.
Up to 72 hours but the sooner you take it the more powerful it is.
72hours, but the sooner you take it the better. Be prepared for a tide of emotion, it aint pretty.
Using the morning after pill 72 hours is the maximum, ideally however it is most successful if taken within 24 hours.
