How do you get rid of stretch marks?

I have just lost weight and I would like to knwo how to get rid of these nasty stretch marks on my legs? Thank you for reading this.

Answer:
cocoa butter. if you go to the dermatologist, he/she can prescribe something for you. check it out! I have them too!
I haven't had any luck. I gained a lot of weight because of medication I was taking and that caused stretch marks. I have since lost the weight but the ugly marks are still there. I've tried cocoa butter and prescriptions with no luck.
There's nothing you can do to get rid of them. All you can do is try to lighten them. I've heard Stri-vectin works, but it's pretty pricey. Go to a dermatologist, they can do the best but it will cost you.

The best thing is while your skin is stretching (you're getting bigger) you put 100% shea butter (Bath & Body Works) on everyday. That's what I did when I was pregnant and seriously got no stretch marks! That probably won't help you now though.

Try to be happy with the body you have! That's great that you lost weight, don't beat yourself up for the stretch marks! Wear clothes that cover them up if you feel self-conscious,but honestly no one is really looking that close! :)
Hey this question was asked before and some of the answers I saw said to use a scar cream. They said stretch marks are damaged skin- scars. Try just a maximum strength scar cream from the drug store. Not sure if this works- but a lot of people suggested it. Good luck!
cocoa butter is your best bet
The bad news: Sorry, I'm afraid you can't. Don't waste your money on creams that claim to get rid of stretch marks.

The good news: Stretch marks usually do fade over time.

Congrats on losing the weight, though!
I hope this helps. :-)
Getting rid of stretch marks is rather a difficult task. The most effective way to handle this problem is to follow a proper care routine that prevents their occurrence. Massaging on the stretch marks serves as an excellent home remedy for stretch marks removal. You can either use olive oil, flaxseed oil, vitamin E oil or cod liver oil for the purpose of massage. sorry i don't know
Dude, try Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. It totally works. I suggest applying liberal amounts to the area in the morning and at night.
use vitamin e oil, straight. it's messy and you have to use it religiously like you brush your teeth 2-3 times a day. if you can't find the oil buy caplets, break them in half and apply. over the counter stuff has to many other ingredients in it you don't need. good luck!
I have them too, I asked my dermatologist about it and he said nothing really can get rid of them, they just fade over time. But I have found that the microdermabrasion home kit by neutrogena does help a little bit (not all the way though), you could try that. Also make sure to apply a moisturizer, to prevent more from coming, and it make them look a little nicer. I know how you feel, it really sucks... so good luck. i hope I helped a little. :)
Try Cocoa Butter or and Vitamin E. I have never tried it but some one told me to try hemorrhoid cream.
You can't really get rid of them but you can lessen the visual impact. Here is a site that is basically an Ad for their product, but they have good information further down the page. http://www.bioskincare.com/stretch-marks... The bath and massage are really relaxing. There are also the easy routes, such as vitamin E, coco butter, exfoliants, coconut oil, olive oil. Eating foods rich in protein, vitamin c and vitamin e to help the skin heal are also good bets.

Good luck, hun.
