Most girls go through irregular cycles at times. If you miss 3 period, you might want to mention it to your doctor. I once missed 9 months when I was a minor and, no, I wasn't pregnant.
its probably just your hormones are shifting and is messing up your cycle. i had one and the same problem, they were irregular for a while but as my hormones leveled out, they go back to everyday.. however if you are just extremely worried you can shift get examined basically to make sure its not something similar to cysts or another problem!

Only 16, that could happen. How postponed? It is probably no deal, but if it go a couple months go to the Dr.
It can be a weight/diet issue. If you weigh to little and dont own enough body portly it will shut down... i'd see a doctor, they'll know.

Hey,
Are you physically active? Are you low/on the lower come to an end of the weight amount for your height? Sometimes those could be reason. I know smaller girls who are veryy physically active (like gymnasts) enjoy periods they miss or are scarce.
Also, it is middle-of-the-road for some girls to have a term only "x" amount of times per year. Sometimes general public have longer cycles.
You should articulate to your doctor. He/she will be able to give support to you more.
Good luck, and try not to make yourself too worried formerly you know what is going on : )
How late is it? Some family (like me) have hugely irregular periods. I run from a minimum of 35 days to sometimes more than 50 days, and I am never rather sure when my period is until it comes. Periods are not controlled to the 28-day cycle. It really depends upon the physical makeup of the person. It hasn't prevented me from have babies, though. The funny thing is, I didn't comparatively know I was already pregnant because I thought I be only belated.
If you want to know your menstrual cycle - in my shield my OB made me mark the calendar for a few months so she could count the number of days surrounded by between.
