Fearful roughly speaking doctor's evaluation to birth control. help out?

Well me and my friend are planning on going to Planned Parenthood to get birth control and I be wondering how is the evaluation there. We aren't getting the together check up just a consultation. Does anyone know what they are going to ask us or put in the picture us. Note I'm not getting birth control for sex just for weighty periods and really bleak cramps and incase I do plan to have sex that I'm preparded.

Answer:
they'll ask nonspecific medical history, do a height, solidity, blood pressure check. deffinately a pregnancy test. it's be a long time since i went, but i'm pretty sure they'll do a pap smear if you haven't have one in the finishing year. and you'll have to be in motion in a few months subsequently to have your blood pressure rechecked.
The will ask if you are sexually alive, how many partner, time frames, etc, protection used, They will not give you birth control of late for periods at planned fatherliness. You need to share them you want it in grip you decide to hold sex. They will ask about vigour history (anything that would prevent you from being a entrant for the pill), migraines, smoking, clotting problems, medications, etc.
Basically what they'll hold you do is fill out some paperwork that asks you question about your robustness and risk factors you may own like smoking or drinking or what your ancestral medical history is. I suggest telling them more or less your heavy period and symptoms you have next to your periods. There are tons of different birth control pills, patch, and shots out there that they'll pick one that seem right for you. They'll most likely do a pelvic exam to clear sure everything is ok in here. Then after that's all over you're done. It's pretty cut and dry. Before I have health insurance I used to dance there for my pelvic exams, birth control, and any other time I have female problems. It's affordable and discreet and treat patients very well. I suggest asking about ortho-tri lo. i have really horrible periods and after they put me on that i didn't dread that time of the month anymore. perfect luck!
Good for you, get informed, procure educated so you can label excellent choices! Most Planned Parenthood offices I've be to have be very professional, on the other hand friendly. Remember, the staff that work at a PP WANT you to be informed, so they are usually pleasant. Even if you are nervous because this is investigational, remember, they have no desire to clear judgments, of late give you the information you are asking for. Take perfect care of yourself!
havent be in a long time, can by a hair`s breadth remember but they may ask you why you decided to seize on the pill and let you know just about unprotected sex and condoms and things. it will be ok the lady i have explain it to me was pretty nice.
Being on birth control does NOT aim you are prepared for sex, other than you won't seize pregnant. But without proper protection, you are risking your enthusiasm!

Blessed Be
