Answer:
First of, it's not the cysts that incentive hair growth and pimples, but it is excess androgen (male hormone) that cause BOTH hair growth, pimples and cysts. So, individual the fact that you enjoy hair growth and skin problems does not mingy that you have PCOS. However, if your androgen is big, you are more prone to PCOS. Your current problems might mean that your androgen is big. I am not from Australia, but you really don't need the best doctor to draw from you tested for hormones. Just go to regular GYN and request full hormonal theory test. The only style to know if you have cysts is if you enjoy very sensitive ovulation and periods, or one of your ovaries hurts for no function. In this case move about to your GYN again and request ultrasound of ovaries. If you are scared of cysts so much, you can even own that ultrasound now (just enlighten your doctor that you have rough periods and would close to an ultrasound of ovaries, and she will refer you to it with no problem). It your blood theory test shows that you have raise androgen, your doctor will probably recommend birth control pill. This regulates your hormones. After getting off the pill you will enjoy much higher likelihood to get pregnant. And don't verbs about your fertility - one and only in most severe cases of PCOS women own difficult time to get pregnant. I am asuming you are not the baggage - since you didn't mention pain within your ovaries. To protect it from getting worse you will probably need to be on the pill (birth control and/or androgen inhibitor) for a while.
