At what age should you start going to the GYN?

im 14 and i will be 15 in september.. should i be going to the gyn soon? and what happen there?? helpppp!

Answer:
If you own started having a time, you should be seeing they gynocologist. He/ she will perform a pelvic exam and a breast exam. It isn't unpromising, just upsetting if you don't know what to expect. Let the nurse and doctor know that it is your first time. Good Luck!
18, unless you are already sexually active, contained by which case you should be going very soon.
Whenever you start having sex.
My mom is an OBGYN and nearby is nothing to be embarassed around. They do this procedure daily. What happen is:
1. Breast Exam/Breathing Exam
2. Legs in Stirrups "Spread Em" - haha!
3. They look surrounded by you and scrap stuff out to theory test to make sure you do not hold any abnormal cell.
4. You're done
*Before all of this they weigh & thieve your height*
You dont need to verbs about this though until you start have sex.
I think you want to go only so they can explain to you how your reproductive system works. In your answer to the question "is it secure to have sex on your period" you said...

"you are more predictable to get pregnant when your ovulating, so unless you want to take pregnant i wouldn't reccomend it"

Apparently you think ovulation and your term are the same entity, they are not. In fact they are total opposites. Ovulation occur half instrument between periods and you produce a great deal of clear sticky fluid during that time, unlike the red/brown blood you get on your length. Yes you are more likely to gain pregnant when you're ovulating(33% chance at most), but you are outstandingly UNLIKELY to get pregnant when you're on your period(less that 1% chance). Remember, they are two extremely different events in the menstrual cycle.
I suggest it's about time you compensated a visit to your ob-gyn if you've get one. If not, you can go to your local practitioner or clinic for a physical and pelvic exam.

You'll want to jump pretty soon to have a check-in and trade name sure everything's okay down there. He/she (you can request a womanly at most places) will answer all of your question there. Don't be afraid to ask--they've hear it all.

What to expect:
They'll probably do a pelvic exam and a pap smear. A pelvic exam is when the doc inserts to gloved fingers inside your vagina and feel around to make sure everything is okay. The doc might push on your lower tummy to check the size and shape of your uterus as well. No big deal--you might surface a little pressure, but it doesn't hurt.

They *might* do a pap smear, but probably not since you're infantile. That involves inserting an instrument called a speculum into your vagina. It looks approaching a duck bill, is made of steel, and is usually a little cold. Just relax when it go in. It'll quality odd. The doc will next bea able to see your uterus, and will insert a swab and rob some cells. And that's it!

The impressive thing to hold on to in mind is to relax. Keeping tranquil and relaxed will automatically relax your lower abdomen and vaginal walls.

It's not that discouraging. Good luck.
You don't need to budge until you are 18, sexually active or you own a problem, so you can wait a bit. I judge in the meantime you should spend some time reading almost gynaecology so you understand better how your reproductive system works and adjectives that.
