What is ovulating? is it a agony?

I get a affliction from one of my ovaries from either side every month, obviously. So, is that ovulating? If so, and if you had sex near your fiance and he came contained by you when you had that ovary cramp and then you have sex the next hours of daylight,(same thing happening) next to the ovary pain,>>>could you procure pregnant? Or do you have to own sex like a daytime or two before the ovary torment?
