I get painful ingrown hairs when I have my bikini waxed. Any help?

I was told to use baby ointment for the ingrown hairs.
I get the same problem but from shaving. They are not painful. But more of a nuisance. I also have done the loofah and it hasn't helped. And since I'm fair skin I tend to think it noticeable. I hate it.
I waxed for 7 years and always got ingrowns. i hate to tell you this, but you should stop waxing. i invested in the laser hair removal and it worked like magic! I paid it off and am glad I did it.
