Is it good to get the mirena iud if i dont have any kids some one told me there is a?

meathed were you can get preg at the certion time of the months.

Answer:
An IUD - just like ANY other type of contraceptive - is NOT 100% effective. However, since human error is taken out of the equation, it is less likely that you will become pregnant through something YOU do (i.e., not use the method correctly).

That being said, it is inadvisable for a nulliparous woman (one who has never had a baby to term) to use an IUD. This is because there is a much higher incidence of uterine perforation and uterine expulsion of the device than a parous woman (one who has given birth), as the uterine wall is much stiffer and inflexible.

It should also be noted that 1 in 5 women will have their device removed within 12 months due to medical emergencies or adverse side effects (cramping, prolonged bleeding, irregular menses, mood swings, etc).

I strongly urge you to look into a different form of contraceptive; if you're considering Mirena because you have problems with pills, be aware that Mirena ALSO has hormones. .Just an FYI.
