Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?

Hello! I think I may own PCOS. I am 19, with mild acne that can become inflamed and sore, some facial quill (extended from my actual hair on the side of my frontage, no Chin or "Moustache" hair) VERY irregular periods (I ve simply had 2 this yr) and smaller than usual breasts. I m not obese, but a tad overweight. No abdominal agony or anything like that. Could I enjoy PCOS? I want to get an ultra nouns test, but I am incredibly worried that I enjoy some sort of cancer or something terrible. I know I entail to have at lowest a couple of period's a yr to lessen the risk of Uterine cancer, and all of that.
Should I see the doctor? I simply dont want to know if I have something agency worse that PCOS.
Thanks Everyone!

Answer:
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is small cyst on your ovaries. Sometimes this can lead to not human being able to carry pregnant without fertility. A lot of women experience this, the easiest approach to diagnose this is with an ultrasound. Your doctor can put you on some medication to relief you have period. I would not be alarmed with have this, but I would go see my Dr. roughly speaking this since having period is the bodys way of cleaning your uterus. It is unusual for someone your age to hold uterine cancer.

Good luck and God Bless!
It sounds like you may enjoy PCOS, I have it myself.

I be diagnosed at 15 when I had a blood audition due to irregular periods. The doctor told me I have hormonal imbalance and booked me within for an ultrasound. And a cyst was discovered.

Then a month after that I had another ultrasound and the cyst be gone. I was told at hand was nil to worry in the region of if it comes and goes.

There is a problem if the cyst stays permanantly and increases within size when it is better to have it surgically removed although they are prearranged to keep re-occurring.

I also still enjoy irregular periods though not as away from home as yours. On average I menstruate every 8 weeks. Although sometimes right on time and sometimes a 10-12 week hiatus. They used to hurt SO bad but presently they're bearable.

The doctor informed me I could take birth control pills for a more regular cycle but I be afraid of the side-effects and chose not to go for it. I wasn't bothered if my period were sometimes past due, as long as nothing be wrong I was fine beside the way they be.

But I suggest you go achieve a blood test pronto and later your doctor can advise you whether you obligation an ultrasound to check for PCOS or not. You should not be getting just two period a year. You may require urgent medication to have more regular period than just two.
patently sounds like PCOS. Most women will hold small cysts on their ovaries even if they don't have PCOS. My doctor did blood test to check my hormone level which be really out of whack. My doctor said that there is no authentic test for it but is diagnosed base on symptoms which it sounds like you own all the classics. I recommend you see a reproductive endocrinologist. The sooner you get hold of it treated the better off you are. Just so you know...its also inherent so you mom or sister could have it. Get checked out, win your cycle regulated. There are medications to give support to with facial quill like vaniqua cream but I have more success next to spironolactone. Metformin and the pill are common treatments and when you are equipped to get pregnant, its not impossible, simply may need for a while help from the doctor. Good luck and do profoundly of research.
