PCOS and Metformin?

I went to my doctor surrounded by April and was dx next to PCOS. We are trying to concieve (have been for 3 years), so he give me metformin. I did miracles on me! I started to loose weight, my excess curls starfted to think out, and mostly my gloomy spots on my skin had almost completley disapeared!
But closing month the dark spots come back even dark.. WHY?! I dont understand why the Metformin stoped working? Any clue?

Answer:
what dosage are you taking? I started out near 500mg once a day after the doctor increased to twice a day. Your doctor might call for to increase your dosage.
Women with PCO hold a problem with glucose metabolism and metformin- the single drug- seems to support. May be you are getting resistant to the effect of drug.
