Nuvaring position?

How is it supposed to sit? Vertically (up/down) or horizonally (back to front/flat? I was beneath the impression until that time that it sat contained by a circular way, similar to with it expanding out and conforming to the vaginal wall. But next I just read something just about it just one inserted and sitting like a tampon. Anyone know?

Answer:
The exact position is not noteworthy for NuvaRing to work and the muscles of your vagina should keep NuvaRing safe and sound in place. Put NuvaRing where on earth it is comfortable for you.
It doesn't matter how it ends up once you enjoy inserted it. Theoretically its supposed to follow the shape of the vaginal canal, but its almost impossible to do that, especially if you use a tampon applicator for insertion, as oodles docs suggest. Also, if the ring seperates, like the cease comes out and its more of a stick than a ring, as long as there is no running fluid, it will be merely as effective.
