Losing weight?
Thank you all in advanced :)
Answer:
try to cut down that non healthy stuff. you have to say to yourself "will this help me accomplish my goal?" eat stuff like yogurt or a low calorie chewy bar for a snack. (special k is good) you can even keep a little food diary. (i know it sounds funny) and write down everything you eat that day. another good thing to do is cut down portions of meals. for example no "seconds". drink lots of water too. let's say you've just eaten and you're stomach is growling, drink some water instead. that fills me up all the time. i think bread and flour are some things to cut down on too. if i go out to eat then i always order water to drink. and another thing you can do is share a meal with someone.
sorry it's a lot. i hope it helps. =]
Instead of the fast food replace it with healthy food, like salads, chicken, eggs, etc
Count your calories. try not to exceed 1200. Maybe try walking for 30 min a day.. or visit the gym more often. Also try drinking diet soda or water.. no calories.
going gym only makes ur muscles stiff.
try walking in the mornings. a fast walk for a period of 4weeks tat ought to reduce. try skipping or play any outdoor games tat makes u sweat a lot.
try to do work tat makes u sweat... tat will really help u in losing weight a lot
cos i did tat and i lost nearly 20lbs in 2months
Hun, at 14 and with your height, you are not overweight and besides, your body is going through changes. What you can do, however is eat healthier; the fast food is so astronomically high in calories and fat. Did you know a burger has over 500calories some as high as 800?! add the fries and soda *sugar* and you have consumed nearly all the calories for one day in one meal and more fat than you should.
If you like soda, switch to diet but cut down and drink a lot of water. There are fast food places now that are a healthier choice such as Subway.
Also, ask mom to stock up on fresh fruit and veggies such as carrot sticks. I like mine dipped in low cal/low fat ranch dressing, it satisfies my need for crunch.
Just eat healthy, stay active and watch portion control.
One of the hardest habits to drop is drinking soda and it is a difficult one. My older brother weighed 238 and after he stopped drinking soda, he lost 15lbs in three weeks. He did it by replacing his soda drinks with Crystal Light On The Go drinks. They are ridiculously sweet and have next to no calories.
Going to the gym is great, but it will be meaningless unless you can adjust your eating habits. Nutrition is 80% of your goal, try starting out slow with the soda at first and go from there.
Just stop with the soda and fast food ! You need to know when to stop sometimes. I know it could be hard but you'll just need to put all your effort into it.Drink 8 cups of water a day.Eat five fruits or vegatables a day.Take your dog on a walk or just take a run or something to get ya out of the house . Its not hard at all you just have to put all you got into it. L0L. Good Luck :-)
first of all stop drinking pop...its horrible for you and makes you bloated from all the carbonation. I would suggest going and working out more than twice a week...i would say more like 5 times a week..it doesnt always have to be hardcore running but do something active for 30 minutes a day (walking a dog, taking a jog). Even maybe try starting to light weight lifting program because weight lifting speeds up metabolism. this is what i do year round to keep in shape for college basketball. and to eat better (i know this sounds kind of bad) but ill put a picture of me where im looking not my best and put it somewhere where ill see it a lot (like my computer background/fridge and it helps motivate me a little). hope this helps out a bit
Lay off the fast food or try one of their Salads (my boyfriend lost weight and all he ate were Jack In The Box Orential Chicken Salads) and instead try Diet pop. Or better yet have a glass of ice water with some lemon juice.
See if the track at your school is open on weekends? Grab a couple of friends and walk a mile or two (4 - 8 laps around) after (or before) school and on the weekends.
Sweetie, you don't have to lose that much weight. You just have to start replacing the pop with water and, if you're gonna get fast food, pick salads or other better selections. It is best to drink 8-16 cups of water a day, and make sure your workout has at least 15-30 minutes of cardio (walking, running, dancing, swimming, etc). I hope that all works out well.
Good luck.
Just forget about the soda. Doesn't matter if it's regular or diet. They're the same. I've lost a lot of weight just by going to the gym 3-4 days a week. I stopped drinking soda. Now, I'll probably have like a 20 oz. bottle of coke once every two weeks comparing to 2-4 bottles everyday. I tried to cut on the fast food too. I do like BK and still have it once a week or so. But just watch out for the fast food stuff. Try to slow it down a little bit. I don't know...Instead of getting a double quarter pounder get like a grilled chicken sandwich with small sides...
