I was on lexapro for about a month and i stopped coz my period went for 5 days and thats unusual for me and it was only a small dosage or lexapro so i stopped taking it as it didnt affect me apart from the period thing but i dont no a 100% that it was caused by the lexapro could it have been?? Now a month later my period is 4 days late im not stressed out much it doesnt feel as tho my period is coming i did a pregnancy test it was negative if its not here by Thursday im getting a blood test! but i was wondering if anyone thinks that lexapro would have caused any of these problems??
Answer:
Yes. Lexapro can effect your periods. I worked in the medical field for thirteen years and I know other girls who have said the same thing. However, would not be a bad idea to follow up with that preg. test.
