What is the difference between high dose BCP and low dose BCP?

im on mercilon, a low dose pill. i just want to know if a person who misses pills on a low does pill has more chances of falling pregnant than a person who misses a higher dose pills??

Answer:
No, your chances of getting pregnant are the same, because either way your body is not getting the hormones needed to prevent pregnancy.

High-dose is for those who have reproductive system issues (endometriosis, etc.) and/or those for whom the low-dose pills aren't strong enough (sort of rare). Low-dose pills are still just as effective at preventing pregnancy as high-dose pills.
