Don't worry your not going to hell. You believe that Jesus died for your sins correct. Of course this doesn't mean to go out sinning! Masturbating is not on a list of don't do like it's not one of the ten commandments. If you are told other wise the person is just trying to scare you. I think anyone who says that you are going to hell for any reason is going to hell them self for judging. They aren't the ultimate judge. Don't feel bad for exploring your self. Usually the people who thinks they are righteous are usually the most sinful they just want to make others feel worse then them.
Relax. Im Christian as well and honestly i don't think you are going to hell for masturbating, its better than having sex with someone you barely know or aren't married too. The question is what are you thinking of? Impure thoughts aren't bad as long as you dont act on them, however if your Christian and your thinking of off the wall stuff like you and a woman or more than one man than yes it is bad, only because thats the enemy making you want it. If i was you i would go to a group session and tell them honestly how you feel and see if they can "get your mind off of it" and definately PRAY ABOUT IT!
I agree with Shortey, you wont go to hell just because. Im Christian and I can say I have the same going on and believe, the only way to help out from this to go out of control is to pray about it, go to reunions and stuff...although I would like to I sometimes cant go, so just pray in your own privacy of home. That wont totally relieve you of it but in time I think ill help control some of the masturbation. I admire you had the ovaries to ask that question. Hope it works out.
