I have been on the patch for many years and just recently (on the 15) started back on the pill and I am also on anti-depressints and on pain pills for my back and my husband and I had sex twice in the first couple of days starting back on the pill and did not use a condom and for the past two days I have been having really strange mild pains down in my overes almost like cramping but not as intence is there cause to be concerned or am I just being paranoid
Answer:
Mild pain during the middle of your month usually comes when an egg is being released. But the pill is supposed to stop that. Maybe you should wait a little while and see what happens.
I think it might just be the bodies changing the medicine, the pill in this case, againtst the patch. They might both have to different active ingredients that conflict, or since you were on patch so long, it might take time to adjust.
Paranoia is a great reason to take a home pregnancy test. The female body is so complicated that it could be nothing or it could be something. You never really know. Also, I would talk to your OBGYN about these symptoms.
