What the depo shot?
Answer:
IMO its poison.
You take it every three months (12 weeks) and it protects against pregnancy (99% effective) but not against STD's.
There are copious side affects with the shot, so I'd never recommend it to anyone. You could enjoy weight gain, mood swings, loss of libido, fleece loss, headaches, spotting at bizarre times, etc. Also it screws beside your bone health.
Although every woman have a different outcome, a majority of women on the depo shot have have negative side affects.
There are class accomplishment lawsuits against Pfizer for what it does to women.
its a form of birth control only its a shot.
birth control I have an idea that it stands for depoprevera or something
It's a birth control shot, that last up to 3 months at a time and is 99% eeffective. It will almost other stop your period, and build you gain weight.
It is a shot explicitly a form of birth control. It typically last for 3 months. Beware though of how you will counter to this. When I had the Depo shot, I be on my period for 3 months straight!! NOT FUN
