This is a little clear, but I can not think of any other road to describe this. I am using the Ortho Evra patch, and usually start my period 2 days after i remove the finishing one with a big gush. Well, this month be different. It was 3 days next, and kind of buoyant. Then, the evening of the 2nd day, I get a huge cramp/pain in the moved out side of my uterus area, and passed a what looked approaching a blood clot at first. Then, on closer examination, the clot come open, and inside be a harder mambrane like blob. My interval has be now totally light, and some cramping ( for a moment more than usual, and always on the left). I am wondering if this is common, or could it have be a clot from the patch, or even a miscarriage? Any thoughts?
Answer:
It may have be a miscarriage, but it also may have be a corpus luteum rupture or even your fallopian tube expelling something.
Any of the above needs medical attention, so send for your ob/gyn (or his nurse) and letthem know about it.
economically for what i know the patch had a call in so i think you stipulation to check with your doctor
You should probably give the name your doctor. It sounds like a miscarrage but that would be strange since you are on the patch. There is a increased risk of clotting near the patch over traditional birth control. I would recommend the depo shot. think give or take a few it once every 3 months. Its great.
